By getting me back inside, Claire had to dream also of an essential practical aspect : my litter box.
I don’t like so much a covered litter box because I have my head often touches the top, then Claire bought me a magnificent box with simple design which will grant perfectly with the new bathroom (renovation planned this autumn in the white and blue tones).
It was then necessary to choose among the multiple existing litters : clumping ? Non clumping ? Mineral ? Vegetable ? After hours of thinking with Momo, Claire finally decided to take the Catsens litter, et and she did well !
I like this litter very much : Catsens is a clumping litter 100 % organic made in Canada. It has a rather fine consistency, doesn’t almost make dust, doesn’t stick on paws, and doesn’t have a particular perfume. The Catsens litter consists of clay of biological feed rank coming from Canada, and also contains a mixture of biological oil (edible) to inhibit the smells and control the formation of dust ; it’s organic certified by LETIS.
The litter Catsens absorbs the liquid very quickly : you just have to take the block of agglomerated wee-wee to put it in the trash can, and it smells NOTHING ! Claire sniffed 36 times at the block directly on the small shovel, she sniffed then so much time at the trash can, and nothing !
The price of the bag can seem rather high at first sight, but you must know that you don’t need to replace the litter during a whole month, or even more : yes, you read well, more than one month ! It is thus finally rather economic.
I thus give four paws up to the Catsens litter, and I am going to continue to use it.

We don’t think that litter is available where we live…we’ve never seen it, at least. But if it’s nearly dust free, the mom says she’s all for it!

Very good work for Claire and Momo. Our Dad gives much thought to litter and just last week thought he had made a great deal by buying 2 boxes of a name brand on sale. He is madder than we are. It has a nasty perfume but that is not marked clearly anywhere on the box. It also has dust. I mean DUST. Thankfully we will use it as he explained it is only fur a week till we go back to the old standby. He would have donated it but both box tops ripped and it spilled causing us to learn even more colorful human language.

I never heard of that litter. Maybe it’s not available here but it sounds perfect. Can it be flushed down the toilet? We don’t like perfumy scented litters so we’d like that one. I’m glad Zorro is getting used to being inside.

We really like the fact that it doesn’t stick to the kitties paws. That is so dangerous. I had a cat get very sick from litter sticking to her paws. Dont’ know if we can get it here or not either. Great review. Take care.

That sounds purrfect! I still go outside for my business, but mum has a tray ready inside just in case I can’t make it. It is wood chip and it works very well except it does go to dust, but I am very careful!!!
