As we told you, Claire is a a counselor for ANiFiT food.
She was convinced by the philosophy of this brand, but really it is us who made the decision : how would you want that she’s credible if we hadn’t liked that food ?
We are gourmets. That’s out of the question to make us eat anything, or to change us our usual food just like that, not but ! We have our dietary pet ways, so let it be known.
Here are thus our advices to the beans avid to change the food of their cat :
- introduce gradually the new food
- first – second day : new 1/4 and 3/4 precedent
- second – fourth day : new 1/2 and 1/2 precedent
- fourth – fifth day : new 3/4 and 1/4 precedent
- from the sixth day : new food only
- in every case, never serve the food too cold
- don’t let drag the food bowls all day long ; remove them at the end of moment, and serve again later
- if it’s wet food, don’t leave kibbles at disposal at the same time
- Claire insists so that we still tell it to : ” your cat will not starve if it does not eat for some hours, even 1 or 2 days “. That engages only her, eh !
In what concerns us, everything took place well ! And you, did you have to become used to a new food on one-sided decision of your bean ? How did it take place ?
Our Person does not to try to change our food at all. We get our canned food first and then a little dry food as snacks. There is only one cat here who is old and she cannot get him to eat anything but dry food. He just refuses any kind or any flavor of canned food.

Me have kibbles in my bowl 24/7 and for breakfast and supper I get some wetfood too 🙂
Me have never tested any food I didn´t like so I guess I´m not fuzzy 😉

Changing cat food is hard! The head peep worries if we don’t eat for a day so it took a long time to get us switched from kibble or canned, but you can do it gradually.
Our mom does everything wrong! We get wet food in the morning and she feeds us all different kinds and she leaves dry kibble out all the time. But she is thinking she might have to stop doing that as a couple of us are a little, er, tubby.

good advice! I am in the process of doing that now with Cody, but then I might have to switch him back if I can’t find the food I am switching him TO. Yep, it’s confusing, I know lol
Good advice. TW usually mixes my kibble but I only get NEW wet food when I have to review something.
