Daylight savings

This post is also available in : French German Italian

Like every year, one hour of our sleep has been pinched during the night from Saturday to Sunday. We changed to summer time, and it’s exhausting.

Besides, it’s useless, it’s proved, but humans persist in playing with time every spring and every autumn. We thus spent the whole Sunday to catch up our late sleep.

And you, what do you think of daylight savings ?

Mum likes it being daylight later in the day. Plus now that she retired she says they could keep it that way all the time. She wouldn’t be getting up in the dark for work.

Our time change was a few weeks ago, I think we are adjusted to it now.

Ugh, we very much dislike the daylight “savings” time switch, though it is fun to have daylight until almost ten o’clock at night here in the deep summer.

My human actually likes the extra hour of sunlight because she is never awake when the sun rises (unless she has been up all night, which is rare). So she is literally getting an extra hour of sun in her day. Me, I don’t care.

Hi Swiss Cats, we hate losing that hour too, it’s dreadful!!!

Our whole programme is now skew-whiff and the P.A. has no clue what the time is, we reckon she needs to start wearing a watch again! MOL
