It is autumn. It is raining since yesterday, after two weeks of good weather and soft temperatures.
As usual, Claire locked herself the neck-shoulder zone (that happens twice a year, her osteopath likes her, but to innovate, it immediately moved on to a cold-sinusitis of which she does not manage to get rid of. We lavished her of course all the necessary care : purring therapy, fur wrap, and application of very hot cat on the breast. By speaking about hairs, she has to stop extracting them : it is certainly because she has no it almost any more to be warmly held that she fell ill.
From our part, we train for the long cold winter days, each in a floor of the house : bedathon for Loupi and chairathon for Zorro.
And you, cats of the north hemisphere, what do you do to get ready for the cold season?
Take good care of your Human cos she has the thumbs. Enjoy your naps and I too have to get ready for the winter.
We’re doing the same as you…napping in order to store up energy for the long, cold winter. We are having Indian Summer now with temps in the upper 80s F. We think that is way too hot for October; though, it does mean lots of catio time for us! Don’t stop snoozing. A kitty can never get too much sleep. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Wow! It looks like synchronized napping!
Well, here it is a bit chilly today. 15C this morning. It will probably be around 20-25 this afternoon though. Kitshka is sharing her long hair with all of us 😉
