Bad day

AMBULANC Loupi278
Zorro :
Loupi has been hit by a car yesterday afternoon. He has bad wounds on the side (peeled skin, raw tendons and raw bone of the leg),  broken canines and crushed tail. There is as a gap between the pond and the vertebra, what could cause neurological problems.

Fortunately, Momo was at home : Béatrice, our neighbor, heard my pal howl, she rushed to collect him, and Momo rushed to make him look.

This morning (Saturday) the veterinarian phoned to Claire to give her some news : Loupi is under morphine because he suffers a lot. He is not apparently incontinent but it will be necessary to amputate him of an end of tail. As we are less than 24 hours after the shock, we are allowed until Sunday to see still how’s that evolve and to decide if these sufferings are worth being lived to continue then a little bit different life of cat, or if the aftereffects will be such as it is better to stop there.

Oh my that is serious. Cats are very tough so I do have faith that Loupi will pull through. Our family has a round the clock purr circle going sending healing energy to help heal our dear furend and give strength to family. Please keep us informed as you can.

We will be purring and praying 24/7 for Loupi. Our Twinkle got hit by a car and didn’t live. Lily Olivia, however, was hit nine years ago, with very, very serious injuries and is still with us today…going strong at 15. We so hope you won’t have to let Loupi transition across the RB. Stay strong and know how many prayers are coming your way. Love and many hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo and Mom Janet

We are sending big hugs and purrs at this stressful time. Many years ago, Merlin was hit by a car and survived. I adopted another cat who’d had part of the tail successfully amputated. The tail is sensitive and thankfully Loupi is under good care and morphine.
