Every year, cats bloggers celebrate Chrissymouse by exchanging presents all over the world : it’s Secret Paws, as Secret Santa Claus for humans.
It’s the second year we participate, and we have to do it early enough, because all our friends live outside Switzerland ! Last year, Angel Loupi and I posted the package for Nerissa on December 3rd, and he arrived AFTER Christmas ! The shame ! Then this year, we’re getting ahead !
The sendings oversea are a little bit expensive, but we save up with the aim of this event, and we think of it all year round : every time Claire sees a nice thing, she asks us for our opinion, and if we agree, she buys it in anticipation of this particular moment.
As you were able to read it above, Pixie and I helped Claire to prepare our package this Friday, and we sent it to our correspondent. He lives thousands kilometers far from our home. You want to see the photos of what we sent ? What an idea ! No photos, otherwise it’s not a surprise anymore !
I was sneaky and didn’t post photos of my Secret Paws gifts either. 😉
Mum helped us choose our secret paw gifts and we didn’t take pictures of them in case someone saw them.
She is going to the Post Office today to send them a squillion miles away.

Poor Nissy got his gift late last year- mouses! We are very excited to be participating this year for the first time. I only posted what our paper looks like and stocking.
We better get our Secret Paws package out this week or our Secret Paws might not get it on time!

Don’t worry ’bout what happened last year, my friends. It was all the postman’s fault, I think. Must have accidentally put the parcel on a steamer ship, I think. Besides, gettin’ the prezzie a few days after Christmas extended the season which was super nice. Worked out very well, in the end.

It must be fun to help your mom package and wrap your Secret Paws gift. Sometimes I get to help with the ribbon but mom must watch carefully because I might eat it.
