Autumn colors

This post is also available in : French German Italian

The vineyard and the mountains surroundings took magnificent autumnal colors. We still have beautiful sunny days, but it’s fast cold as soon as the night comes. The first frosts made their appearance.

And this fly who hoped to spend the winter in the warmth with us takes big risks…

“Simply beau-ti-ful,” my Master exclaims! My Mistress would ask information about the vineyards and the wine they produce. She knows the wines produced between Lauranne and Montreux, she likes Fendant and most other Valaisian wines…
Did you kill the fly, Pixie?

Beautiful color in the scenery and on Pixie!
Catching the fly should be entertaining for Pixie. Raven has never shown any interest in flies but she loves looking for spider webs.

the colors of fall are just wonderful. please don’t eat that fly. my mommas granny always said the last fly what stays in the house for the winter is the “money-fly” what brings good luck and green papers to you. My dad sadly ignored that granny-wisdom and solved the problem with the fly-swatter… no wonder that we have such a strike of bad luck :o)

    Beautiful!
We love the yellow, orange and gold of Fall. The colors are so warm even though it’s cold outside…unless you’re in New York right now!
