Yesterday, at 8:55 pm, a digestive eruption took place in our living room. Curtains and sofa were supernaturally spared by the geyser of food which sprang from my stomach from the top of the cat tree. The event took everybody by surprise, and there is unfortunately no photo. According to witnesses (Claire and Zorro), it was impressive.
Fortunately, Claire is a fan of Reka® cleaning products for years : their rags in microfiber allows to clean everything with some water and a little elbow grease. She gathered what could be with the brush Sweepa and collected the maximum with paper towels. She then washed the parquet with a wet Maintenance cloth (water + a little cleaning vinegar) and dried with a Delta cloth. For the part covered with fabric of the cat tree, she collected what there was with paper towels, then cleaned with a wet Super Plus mini-cloth (water + a little cleaning vinegar). Within a quarter of an hour, everything was back to normal again !
We received no compensation to tell you about Reka® rags ; we use them for years and we wanted you to make them known because they are really quality products. This Swiss product can be ordered in all Europe.
We are used to that sort of problem with RouXy. Sometimes it’s outside, and Hiris, the neighbour’s dog, “helps”, or the magpies. No carpet either at RouXy’s Masters’ nor in our house. It happened a couple of times on my Masters’ quilt, the cover of which had been washed the previous day, of course. But “when you love someone,” my Masters will say,”like for babies !”
My human could have used these products over the weekend at our hotel – I was playing too hard with my Birbug after dinner and I threw up a little on the bed! It wasn’t too bad, but she had a time cleaning it off the comforter!
I hope you are feeling better now!
I was fine 5 minutes later MOL ! Purrs
Sounds like some impressive vomit there 🙂
Hope you are feeling better now.
Those cleaning supplies sound pretty good too.

I love the term “digestive eruption.” 🙂
Those sound like some great products that we could use around here.
Oh that’s a CATastrophe when we turn into a fourlegged fountain…. I wish we had this tools today as I decorated the stairs and the carpet with recycled food… Hope the thunderstorm in your tummy disappeared and the food-volcano is not ready for another eruption :o)
MOL! Digestive eruptions happen when you least expect them sometimes! That sounds like great cleaning tools!

Lexy had a BIG digestive eruption the other day. All over the recliner. Mommy is still cleaning it.
I’m sorry to hear that you had an upset tummy! That is never fun. I’m glad that your mum was able to clean everything easily with these products. They sound like great stuff! 🙂
*snort* Uhm, we HEARD about that incident on Facebook! Way ta GO!
TBT says he might be more inclined toward burning down the house and claiming the insurance…
“digestive eruption” I like how you worded that and I might have to “borrow” that one day 🙂

That happens quite often here with my 4 cats ! The worst is when I step on it barefoot !!
Mister Cat sometimes also has some “digestive eruptions”. A few years ago I bought a new carpet and minutes after putting the carpet in the living room, he decided to throw up all over it. It was quite a spectacle!
Sorry for that upset tummy, but we are very excited to learn about those Swiss cleaning products! The Swiss sure do love their cleaning. Mom fails at it daily!
Love us here in Ticino!

Boy, we could have used those awesome products here yesterday. Moosey got sick on the rug. 🙁
We hope you are feeling better today!
Uck. Sorry your mom had to do a lot of cleaning but it sounds like she has some wonderful products to tackle the job. I’m sure she appreciates that you did not vomit on the curtains or sofa.
She did ! But she would have preferred that I did not vomit at all… Purrs, Pixie
Sounds like a great product to have. Hope you are feeling better now.
Purrs xx

We’ve never heard of these! They sound great! Will have to keep an eye out for them. And Pixie, we hope that you are feeling much better now!
Hope you’re feeling better now! We also had to smile when we read about your vulcano.
Those rags must be super rags. I’m sorry you got sick Pixie but glad your Mom was able to clean everything so she wouldn’t have to trash your cat tree.
Jan loves microfilber cleaning supplies. We don’t know that brand but she understands why your mom likes to use them.
Glad all is well. I’d love to find the Reka Rags. That would be a great business in the U.S.!
