A fantastic weekend

Our buddy Speedy the Cheeky House Bunny was the luckiest during our giveaway. That made us laugh to see that Rafflecopter chose his name on Friday, because not long ago, it’s us who had luck on his blog.

The sun shone bright on Saturday. It was a magnificent day for the flower market of the village.

While she planted gerania, I had a good earth bath before doing a small garden tour.

I hope that you also spent a fantastic weekend !

Can we ask you for some purrs for Momo ? He’s going to be operated tomorrow to remove the screws he has in the foot and to free his nerve below the knee so that it can continue to regenerate and to get back its functions (flexion of the foot). We hope that everything goes well. For those who know us for less than two years, it’s still the consequences of the serious accident Momo had in December, 2014.

  4. The Menagerie Mom

Congratulations, Speedy! That’s a great prize you won.

This is such a lovely post. I love seeing all of the beautiful plants, and of course the adorable kitty as well. Are such lizard sightings common for you? We don’t see a whole lot of that here where we live.

And, lots of prayers being sent for Momo!

  5. Sometimes Cats Herd You

Oh, lots and lots of purrs to Momo! A friend of ours went through something similar (from a two-story fall rather than an accident) and has had to have pins removed since. Hopefully it will be an uneventful surgery for Momo.

Such beautiful flowers! Your yard is really looking beautiful. 🙂 I hope you had fun playing with that lizard! We will be praying for Momo. It is crazy how much he is still going through after 2 years.

  9. Raven

Such beautiful flowers. We have many of the same varieties here. Your maple is gorgeous.
Paws crossed and healing purrs for Momo. We hope his surgery and recovery go well. It sure has been a long road for all of you.

  10. Kitties Blue

Mom is putting Momo at the top of her prayer list, and we will be purring. Rolling in the dirt is heaven. Only three of us ever get that opportunity. Mom really likes the planter made from wire and stones. Was it hard to do? C.J. is sending a kiss for the white spot on Zorro’s chest. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo.

    1. The Swiss Cats

The planter is made of two circles of mesh one into another. You have some “staples” to hang them together with a space of 6-8 cm. Then you put stones in-between, and that’s it ! The inner side is covered with a plastic sheet to avoid that the earth goes among stones. Purrs

  11. Little Binky and Granny

We love the mug! Congratulations Speedy 🙂
Your garden looks very beautiful, Zorro and Pixie. We love the Japanese maple and its colour. Will send Healing Pawkisses and Purrayers to your Momo. We remember the accident as if it was yesterday 🙁
