Out of order

This post is also available in : French German

It always begins in the afternoon, and it gets worse with hours : Claire had a strong migraine on Wednesday ; fortunately, she found a medicine which relieves her a little, but it’s impossible to her to do anything at the computer. Impossible thus for us to visit you.

Generally, the crisis passed the next day, but there… The migraine came back on Thursday ! The same one ! Our poor human had a training at school a part of the afternoon, and was out of order when she came back home… Again medicine, and again relief, but Claire hates having to take “stuff” to heal herself.

Can we ask you to cross your paws so that this damned migraine leaves her alone for a while ? A little month at least ?

oh a second meow-graine attack is the worst… that mostly means it is resistant to any meow-graine pills…. potp for your claire and we hope that meowgraine disappears finally soon…

She feels better since Friday ; it’s the second time she takes that anti-meowgraine pill, and the doc told her she may have to try several drugs till she finds the good one. Purrs

I’m sending healing purrz. TW’s migraines used to last 3 days and would be on one side of her head one day and then switch to the other. She also would get severe nausea. She tried the Triptans for them but they damage your heart. Finally she started going to acupuncture which actually worked. Also, chewing fresh catnip leaves (or something that’s legal in only half the USA) works.

You are a beauty, Pixie … you take my breath away. We hope Claire feels better soon. When I get horrendous headaches, looking at a computer screen makes them unbearable, so I understand. Now you two kitties take care of Claire, okay? Kitty snuggles fix just about everything.

Sorry to hear about Claire’s migraines. Mom gets them 6-7 times a month and has to take medicine to stop them. She tried two different “prevention” medications but only experienced side effects and no reduction in migraines. When mom gets a migraine, she cannot watch anything with motion so surfing the internet would be difficult.

Purrs that Claire doesn’t get a migraine again for a long time.
