Meeting with a monster

ZORRO : during my last expedition in the jungle, I came face to face with a terrifying creature : an anaconda !

Relying only on my courage, I faced him. After a relentless fight, I emerged victorious out of this meeting, and I proudly brought back my trophy to Momo. This latter was so happy that he shouted loudly for joy.

PIXIE : here is the true story : during one of his trip in the garden, Zorro met a small 30-35 cm grass-snake. He captured him and brought him half dead to Momo. You need to know that Momo hates snakes, and in my opinion, the shouts he made were everything but shouts of joy !

Momo bravely armed himself with a fly swatter and knocked out the snake (who had already died). He then threw it out the window, always by means of the fly swatter. The poor reptile landed on the path.

Shortly after, when Claire arrived, Momo waited for her to indicate her that a “monster” was lying on the path. Claire horrified him by taking the snake in the hand to put him in the grass.

Poor Momo, what emotions !

aaaaah snake alarm… the mama found such a giant monster too… she screamed like an air raid siren… the whole hood was there to watch my dad while he evacuated the ginormous 20 centimeter monster…

My human is all sad, going, “Poor little snake!” She loves the creatures… although we’re more likely to get rattlesnakes here and even she doesn’t want to cozy up to one of those.

WOW…….a real killer of a snake! My Mom is totally terrified of snakes no matter what size they are and FORTUNATELY she doesn’t see them often. I haven’t seen one……….yet………but I don’t think I’ll like them much either!

Kozmo tells me that Daddy is deathly afraid of snakes and screams like a little girl! Queen Penelope and Kozmo used to LOVE to bring them to him!
However, our Mommy is NOT afraid and always used to rescue the snakes, or dispose of the dead ones.

Anaconda alert!! They do seem to be getting smaller. however a snake is a snake and whatever size the snake deserves to die. We laughed our fool heads off over Momo’s reaction…..sounds like mom.

I’ve never seen a snake, but I have had a big lizard in the house. Like Summer, we get rattlesnakes here, and they are scary. But we don’t mind the non-poisonous snakes that help control rodents and other pests. You must have a very strong fly swatter if Momo was able to use it to pick up the snake! We agree with Momo – a snake in the house is not right!
