What if I choked and suffocated ?
What if I injured myself on anything sharp?
What if I missed my jump and broke myself a paw ?
What if I burned ?
What if I got stung by a venomous insect ?
What if I got bitten by a snake ?
Even in apartment, even with an enclosed garden, an accident may happen. To know first-aid interventions can save our life.
Claire is aware of it, and she’s already looking forward to following a canine and feline first-aid class on Caturday. She already has some knowledge in booboo-logie, but it’s insufficient. We’ll tell you more about it later !
I just hope that she won’t eat garlic when she’ll have to give us mouth-to-nose…
And your humans ? Do they have notions of first aid for cat ?
My human took a pet first aid course MANY years ago – I’m sure she needs a refresher.
you are right… we are geniusses and eggs-perts and we can do things what are beyond belief… so our humans should be well prepared….
That sounds very smart.
People should know enough pet first aid to help us until we can get to a Vet.

Good idea to have some knowledge of “what if” when it comes to pets! We do rely on our humans for help when the time comes…..

Being prepared for anything is really a wise thing!
You can’t be purrepared enough these days…so in reply of the question, yes, we are, Pixie <3 Pawkisses for a Safe Monday 🙂 <3
I attended a CPR class for pets last year, and check over each cat to make sure all limbs and tail don’t have any problems. Manny and Chili Bruce are crash kitties, so I may have to make an appointment with the cat chiropractor someday!
My mum learned First Aid for Pets 🙂
I took a pet first aid class a couple of years ago, I definitely need a refresher.
Peeps eatin’ garlic before givin’ the breath of life? Ewww…. MOUSES!

Always good to know dat stuff!
We look forward to hearing about the class! There will no doubt be some interesting and helpful information 🙂
the critters in the cottage xo
I took a pet first aid course a while ago. It was really a lot of fun.
I got to meet some incredible people.
I would like to take one again…maybe next ssummer.
Ciao

My first aid is my sister!! SHe is a vet!!
That is such an adorable photo of Pixie. I agree, we need to know first aid for kitties.
that is great that Claire is taking a first aid class for kitties! I attended a session at BlogPaws a few years ago that went over first aid and I have 2 pet first aid kits and numerous books, but a class is a great idea!
first aid is good to know
Whoa! How none of those things happen to me. The only first aid TW knows is to panic.
Well, TBT knows the basics of first aid(boy scouts, babysitting, and ocassional self-damage), but he also0 knows the fastest route to the regular vet and the nearest emergengcy animal hospital.
And we try to be careful…
Those are lots of scary questions. I’m sure Claire & Mom protect you and Zoro as much as possible and they will be ready to help you if you have an emergency.
Useless for Frimousse, RouXy and Tigry, I’m afraid…
What really worried me was dying and leaving them… What would have become of them?
Most people don’t even consider learning first aid for their cats – until they find themselves in a situation where they need it. I’d love to take a class too!
I would love to take a first aid class for dogs.
That’s pawsum gawjus. So true dangers lurk ’round every corner. Mommy knows some things, but she ain’t no doctor. Good luck to awnty Claire. We can’t wait to hear all ’bout it. Big hugs
Luv ya’
