… and we’ll be rich tomorrow, because during the night from Saturday to Sunday, we’re finally going to get back the hour of sleep we lost this spring. Indeed, we change to winter time, our favorite schedule.
The time change is an annual inconvenience that is worth little : the European Union just noticed it, and with a little luck, could decide to change nothing more after 2019.
The big question that remains is the following one : are we going to stay on summer time, or on winter time ?
And in your country, is this issue addressed also ?
If the change didn’t take place anymore, which would be your favorite schedule ?
We love the summer hours and the extra hour of daylight! My human is a night person so it is already sunny when she wakes up, no matter the time of year.
We just wish the humans over here would settle on one and quit messing with the time!
Beautiful shot of a napping cat – Happy Black Cat Day! Time changes are hard on the Catscue Cats who are definitely schedule driven. Actually, it’s harder on their parents who have to deal with either earlier or later wake up calls for breakfast! MOL
Happy Black Cat Day. These time changes are confusing. In the U.S. we turn back clocks one hour the first Sunday in November, the 4th this year.
Happy Black Cat Day!! Our daylight savings is next Sunday. We do love having the extra hour of sun during the summer hours, but having the sun out earlier in the winter helps a little when waking up for work on those cold mornings. Thanks for the share. Have a great day.
I wish the humans would pick one time and stick with it. Maybe they should go half way and make everyone (or nobody) happy.
We will be changing our clocks next weekend(Nov 3-4).
We wish they would stop doing this too.HUmans are just strange :/

our clocks don’t go back until Nov 4!! – I am still not sure how i feel about it – though i do hate waking up at 7AM and it is so dark out–when I go running at that time I have to wear a light so cars can see me!
I WISH we would stop the change ! I get up early too, and the animals know that, but I hate stumbling around in the dark ! I guess standard time, because it was the original standard. Ours is next week also !
Our state doesn’t do daylight savings, but many other states do. Mum says it’s ridiculous to do daylight savings because then you’re getting up in the dark and going to bed in the heat of the day.
We will get ours back soon, I look forward to it 🙂 XO
Our clocks go back next weekend. Love the extra hour of sleep, but wish the time changes would stop.
The Autumn time change makes me worry about the cats getting their meal one hour later…it probably bothers me more than them! We’ve had daylight saving time for my entire life; I think I’d prefer that it ended, but it would be an adjustment!
we haven’t fallen back yet (I think we might be falling back next week? not sure. I wish we would just STAY on the gaining an hour sleep.
Our time changes next week. Many people don’t like it and some states here in the U.S. stay on winter time. I like Daylight Savings Time because I like having more light during the evening but I am probably in the minority.
I hate getting up in the dark in the morning!
We get one more week of summer time. I don’t know if they are talking about not changing at at some point but if they do mum would vote for summer time all year long. Her thought is now that she doesn’t have to get up for work anymore, she wouldn’t mind the dark in the AM.
I wish here in America that the humans wouldn’t mess with the clock. They turn it forward, then back, then forward, then back, and so on and so forth. It’s enough to drive a kitty BATTY! I think clocks the whole world over should be set to pussycat time. That would make so-o much more sense. Tee hee hee. Winks.
We fall back next weekend and I’m not really looking forward to it. I’d prefer the days with longer sunlight.
We like the fall back one better than the spring forward thing when we lose an hour. 🙂
we had the horror yesterday… howling hungry pups and a mama who had to leave our bed at 6:05 am…aaaah…
Well we like BST here, and when the clocks change back it seems to only forestall the inevitable darkness by only a few weeks. I’d vote for keeping Summer time!

PS Thanks for visiting on the selfies, and I hope you’ll enjoy the next chapter of our adventure which is out today, Monday
We love the long nights here. Long hours of daylight depresses Mum. She loves the night and dark 🙂

MeOW We hate time changes too. Twice a year we have to do this nonsense. We’d keep time just the way it is now, we guess. We don’t really have a purrfurence as it’s all just time to us. We run on tummy time and not a clock, so really, we couldn’t care less. MOL Big hugs
Luv ya’

I really wish they’d end this time change nonsense in the US. It gets even more confusing because states here can opt out. I hate that it gets dark so early after the time change!
Meow meow Zorro you look so comfycozy inn yore bed! Mee meowed to LadyMew ’bout thee time change an shee said tonite iss ‘Fall back’ an thee clockss go back an hour. Wee are inn Canada an even tho’ thee Hu’manss complane a lot no one inn thee Guvvyment will leeve thee time alone. Mee hopes LadyMew will adjust so mee gets meelss on time….MOL 😉

I would rather that we keep Winter time.
I do hope “they” will make a quick decision, whatever that is.
If we watch where the sun is at noon time in mid June, that should determine what time we should adopt…at least that is our opurrnion!
