After 4 months of drought, rain has finally been falling during several days. The nature really needed it ! It was an ideal rain, not too strong and not too plentiful. Other regions unfortunately underwent floods.
Today, the sun is shining again, and Claire and Momo left having a walk again. They didn’t return with many photos, then we present you the magnificent vineyard of Fully which they traveled two weeks ago.
That’s a magnificent vineyard, but I can’t imagine machinery being useful for harvest, etc. Is that as labor-intensive as it looks?
Yes, it is. Slopes are very stiff. You’ll find here some interesting videos that show you how it’s done : http://www.fendant.ch/video_fendant.asp

Looks sunny and warm there, not like here, and very beautiful.
Yay for rain! That’s an amazing vineyard!

I hope the drought goes away. Hey, that vineyard sure looks cool. Have a fun week everyone!
You live in such a beautiful place!
We had lots of rain this year, wish we could have shared some with you.
Such lovely photos of that vineyard. Hooray for your much needed rain! 🙂
What an awesome visit! I love the vineyard!
we are glad that we got some rain… it was very needed here too…
What a beautiful vineyard! Has to be a lovely place for a hike. We have rain today and tomorrow then some sun will be back………I’m comfy inside today – the rain is too hard even for ME!
Hugs, Teddy
Let’s hope that the rain put an end to the drought! We’ve had plenty of rain recently, and it’s making all the leaves fall.
Beautiful photos, especially the one of you Pixie. XO
I’m not big on wine, but that vineyard is downright stunning!
Lovely photos!
So, glad you were able to get some rain!
Four years ago, Frimousse’s Mistress ran the Lausanne half-marathon between La Tour de Peilz and Lausanne. I only did the the round trip by train… We like that place. Next year, it is sure, she’ll run the Lausanne half marathon again. My grandson will be there sure. He would liketo run the marathon but he will still be under age.. Maybe he will cheat over the age. His dad is willing but his mom is against….
Today, here, it has been very wet. “All Saints’Day” weather at last!
PS The famous white wine of Valais it is fendant.. Can you remind us the name of the most famous wine from Vaud?

That’s an amazing vineyard. It looks so steep! But I love that they made the most of the land they had.
I’m glad you’re getting a nice, gentle rain. The vineyard is beautiful.
