Our 2019 out of time Pet Blogger Challenge

This post is also available in : French German Italian

« For the past eight years, the pet blogging community has joined together virtually for this event. We reflect on the previous year’s accomplishments and share our victories. We also help each other through our challenges, offering ideas and advice to get the new year off on better footing. »

Although we are out of time, we found it nice for you to answer the questions of the Pet Blogger Challenge 2019 :

For those who may be visiting your blog for the first time, how long have you been blogging and what is your main topic ?
We’ve been blogging since April 2012 : our cat lifestyle blog’s purpose is to educate and entertain cat lovers across the globe. We cover topics like behavior, health and safety, and share as well funny anecdotes inspired by our daily life.

What was your proudest blogging moment of 2018 ?
In May 2018, we were finalist for a Nose-To-Nose Award ; we didn’t win, but being nominated was already amazing.

What was the biggest blogging challenge you faced in 2018, and how did/will you tackle it ?
The biggest challenge for our human was to keep the publication pace of our blog (one post per week, and one wordless post). She must absolutely block time to do so, and she must stick to it.

Which of your 2018 blog posts was your favorite and why ?
Our favorite article is our 2018 retrospective : we’re always amazed to reread everything that happened during the year !

Which of your 2018 posts was most popular with your audience ? Why do you think it does so well ?
Our series of articles on first aid has been very successful : the subject concerns everyone, and our videos help to understand how to properly perform certain care.

Did you implemented a new series, feature, or practice on your blog in 2018 that you’re enjoying ?
Not really.

As the social media landscape changes, how are you promoting your blog posts and connecting with new readers ?
We want our future readers to find us easily : we share our articles on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

Looking forward to 2019, if you accomplish only one thing through your blog, what do you hope it is ?
Continue to publish at least one article per week that interests or amuses our readers.

What steps are you planning to take to ensure you reach your goal ?
As we have already said, we need to ensure that our human stays on schedule to deal with our blog.

Now it’s your turn ! How can we help ? Is there an area where you could use some advice, or an aspect of your blog that you’d like input on ? Share it here, and we’ll answer you in comments !

I love your blog. The first aid series was fantastic and I always enjoy the photos of Pixie and Zorro. Thank you for the kind words you left on my blog for the loss of Tallulah. XO

Staying on schedule is hard for us, too. I always make schedules and never stick to them. I don’t know what the answer is but I haven’t found it yet. I am going to try to find you all on Pinterest right now.

We understand about finding time to blog. . . . it has become that much more challenging for us to do so since Avalon joined the fold. Our human feels bad that she doesn’t have as much time to visit 🙁 We cannot believe you have been blogging for seven years! We remember when you first started to blog! We love your blog , the kitties, and you. XO
