Switzerland is . . . a place da momma wants to visit!

My momma has never been out of the US and would love to visit Europe. She’s heard a lot of people say they really enjoyed visiting Switzerland and it looks so pretty!

    Happy Switzerland Day!

  2. Memories of Eric and Flynn

Switzerland is… a place I would love to go back to with Ivor. but that is unlikely to happen now. I went there on a school holidays trip 52 years ago and stayed in Kandersteg. It was the first time I had been overseas and I still remember it so well. I imagine it has changed over the years though.

Sorry, I started that wrong. Switzerland is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. I will almost certainly visit there while we are in Germany in October.

I admire the Swiss for their fortitude, and for standing up for themselves throughout history. Their reputation is for steadfastness, precision-work, and strength. I hope to visit someday, as many other commenters have noted!

Switzerland is a place Mom would love to visit. Funny thing is she’s going to a Farmer’s Market today and one of the booths is called Barbara’s Swiss Treats and it’s supposed to have all kinds of Swiss goodies!

We think of the mountains and beautiful scenery along with the handsome people. We appreciate how Switzerland has been so important in world affairs by taking stands for its own peoples national identity.
    Yay Switzerland!

    Happy Swiss National Day!

Switzerland means beautiful mountains, landscapes, those long horns, and the yummy chocolate, milk products and warm woolies from the sheep and cattle that graze in the pretty meadows. And snow on mountain tops!
Geneva is special to us, as the place made famous by John Calvin…and the music and hymns from that time.

Switzerland is a completely beautiful country and one of the countries we visited on our honeymoon in 1990. Warm friendly people – gorgeous countryside – we stayed in a lovely place in Lucerne and really enjoyed the beautiful city sights. Happy Swiss National Day!

    Love, Pam and Teddy too

I bought some Swiss cheese today. I don’t know if it actually originated in Switzerland, or it just has that name. I will have to go look that up.

Switzerland is . . . . a small haven amidst a world of strife. Somewhere of beauty and full of interesting sights. I am also hoping they sell good cream, too, though all I hear about is a cheese with holes, MOL
