Fall break

This post is also available in : French German Italian

Claire and Momo are on holiday this week, and they are taking advantage of it to prepare the garden for winter, to do some small work in the house, and to walk around as the weather is beautiful (except today, it’s raining…).

Do you see that little green train up there ? It goes down from Leysin, further up the mountain.

The harvest is coming to an end, and the vineyard adorns itself with golden colours.

The little train has reached us, it will continue to Aigle that we see in the distance.

Their walk of the day will also bring Claire and Momo to Aigle, and we don’t resist the pleasure of showing you our favorite castle for the umpteenth time.

Having a favourite castle is a good thing, methinks! From someone who has no castles to enjoy daily…*sob*…although I’ve visit them whenever I travel! I think that I lived in a castle in a previous life; living surrounded by stone seems to be something that I enjoy.

Enjoy the break and that absolutely stunning scenery! As much as we love the beach I wish we had that around here, and that castle is magnificent.

Ooh, that looks like a pretty view. I’ve never been on a train before. The trains (some) in America are only just now starting to allow pets aboard. Mom’s been on a kinds of trains and enjoyed them very much. Late at night I can hear the whistle of a choo choo in the distance from my house. Winks.
