A little sprig of lily of the valley

This post is also available in : French German Italian

We interrupt our afternoon snuggles to announce that our buddy Ducky was the luckiest in the giveaway of our 9th blogoversary.

One last check on our teleportation tunnel, and we can send him his surprise package !

The warm temperatures of the previous week allowed Claire to open the vegetable garden season, and Zorro to take advantage of the freshly turned soil to… I mean, you get it.

Our lily of the valley was even in bloom for May 1st : let us offer you a sprig !

Congrats to Ducky! The garden is looking good. I have planted some hardier shrubs but the bedding will have to wait as we are still getting frost.
I love Lily of the Valley. My mother had a bed of them beside the front door and I have always loved the smell since childhood.

One of the loveliest fragrances of all … they surrounded the entrances to our once-upon-a-time home in Michigan … what
    a welcome that was …
Happy Springtime to you and yours.

We have a lot of those Lily of the Valley here, too….but not blooming as yet. (We always worried that one of our kitties would try to nibble on them as they are right outside the back door…and very toxic to cats.)
They are very pretty though and they smell SO good!

I love how you have set up your garden plots!
    Hi, Zorro! Hi, Pixie!

Congratulations to Ducky! He’s a LUCKY DUCKY! Lily of the Valley is one of my Mom’s favorite “sniffs”.

    Hugs, Teddy

We love yer teleportation tunnel pointing up a bit. That must help the aiming.

Yer garden looks nice, and those rings around the plants must keep them slightly warmer. Or are they for watering? TBT has different kinds.
