How to get it touch with other blogging pets around the world

badge septWhat we prefer in pet blogging, it’s to meet bloggers of everywhere united by a common passion : their pet.

September is International Pet Bloggers Month for the BlogPaws community, and we want to tell you how we met you, you, our friends :

  • We began by following some cats on Twitter.
  • In the profile of each, we went to look who they followed, and we followed other cats and diverse animals.
  • We also noticed that certain Twittpals mentioned a blog on their profile, then we went to see…
  • The very first blogger cat we met was Mr Bumpy. His blog is a little less active since the arrival of Baby Joey, because the education of this small human sets him a lot of time.
  • We followed his adventures and commented regularly on his posts.
  • We then began to follow certain friends of Bumpy, via the comments of his blog.
  • By them, we discovered the Cat Blogosphere and we found new acquaintances there.
  • Thanks to the Cat Blogosphere, we discovered the BlogPaws community and chose to be a member of it too.
  • All this took place only in English ; as we are lucky enough to speak several languages, we examined to find other cats who speak French, German, or Italian.
  • We enlarged our circle of acquaintances by following blogs, but especially by leaving comments.

That takes a lot of time, but it’s worth of it : several of our on-line acquaintances became friends in spite of the distance, and Claire was even lucky enough to meet some !
