Today, it’s Whit Monday, and it’s a holiday here. In spite of some small showers during the second half of the afternoon, the weather was rather pleasant and sunny for this prolonged weekend.
Claire and Momo continued to plant things in the garden, and made every day a small walk around.
On Friday, three people came to install the new double blind to shade our terrace. It looks good like that, but I saw at once that something limped :
Yes, you saw well : the installation is temporary, because there is one foot with cartridge, and one T-foot, while there should be two identical feet with cartridge !
The factory made an delivery error, and two or three weeks will be needed before it’s corrected. Fortunately, the blind is all the same usable !

Hey! We got a holiday today too! I got Mom home 3 days in a row!
I have been enjoying the extra cuddles! And you know what…Your field of poppies and Daisies reminds Mom so furry much of when she lived on Vancouver Island! She says she had the best Memory flashback EVER!

Wow, too bad it needed to be fixed beforeit was even used! At least its still functional. We could use something like that here, our back patio gets very hot in the afternoon sun. So does our front porch…and the sunny south window in the dining room…yup, we are made out of $$…not!

it was a howl-i-day here too… butt nevertheless we met two of our neighbors in front of the diy cowboy store … we laughed sheepish and drove home with empty hands… butt man this may has a lot of howl-i-days LOL
The flowers in the field are very beautiful and a wonderful place for a cat to explore, but hopefully not get lost in!

Oh what a wonderful bit of shade that beautiful double blind will give to your terrace! Nice cool spots to enjoy summer….too bad the factory made a mistake but it sounds like they are making things RIGHT in plenty of time to nap in the shade.
