DEFINITION : a lousy attempt to apologize or explain expressed by a human (on vacation !) to justify that she does absolutely nothing to help you visit friends’ blogs and read the 228 articles that have been waiting for you for four days while she had time to have a migraine and thus stay in bed for 48 hours.
Beside this, Claire keeps saying she’s looking forward to Monday : do you have any idea why she’s saying that ?
I like to help Claire when she prepares her classes at the office ; I often sleep on her lap, or I tidy up her stuff.
I started to store her pencil kit, and then I sorted out the plastic covers in which she has different documents : it slips by itself, it’s very quickly scattered. I then became interested in the planning she was working on : a disaster !
No need to hesitate !
This document was good for the shredder.
I’m proud to have been able to contribute to the quality of her teaching once again : do you think her pupils know that she’s not preparing her courses by herself only ?
Today is Answer Your Cat’s Questions Day. Here is the one we asked Claire :
ZORRO and PIXIE : Why do we publish so little on our blog ? It’s true, you hardly manage to help us for an article and one “wordless ” a week !
CLAIRE : Because I work more than before ; between the class and the deanship, I have fewer time to photograph you, write articles, and translate them.
ZORRO and PIXIE : And in the evening ? What do you do in the evening ?
CLAIRE : I help you to comment on your pals’ blogs.
ZORRO and PIXIE : Ah yes, it’s true … But during the rest of the night ?
CLAIRE : I sleep.
ZORRO and PIXIE : What ? You sleep ?!? But can’t you sleep at the office ? Or in class ?
CLAIRE : If I sleep at school, I cannot work ; if I don’t do my work, I don’t get paid ; if I don’t get paid, I have no money ; if I don’t have money, I can’t buy you treats ; and if I can’t buy you treats, you can’t eat them.
