We didn’t know it, but previous years our friends in the United States organized Santa Paws Drive : 6 shelters were chosen and received a heap of presents and donations. This year, the sprites have too much work with Christmas and can’t organize it.

Instead of remaining swinging arms, we, blogger cats, thought about the brilliant idea launched by Summer : if we tried to do each anything similar for the friends in local shelters ?

And so Santa Kitty Toy Hop started !

All to do to participate is to play Santa Kitty for a refuge of your region by bringing toys, treats, food, or a donation, and to write then an article on your blog. There will be a “blog hop” from 12 till 19 December hosted on Summer’s blog to share these moments of enjoyment.

As there are blogger cats almost everywhere, we hope to share the spirit of Christmas with the anipals in the shelters worldwide !

Every year, cats bloggers celebrate Chrissymouse by exchanging presents all over the world : it’s Secret Paws, as Secret Santa Claus for humans.

It’s the second year we participate, and we have to do it early enough, because all our friends live outside Switzerland ! Last year, Angel Loupi and I posted the package for Nerissa on December 3rd, and he arrived AFTER Christmas ! The shame ! Then this year, we’re getting ahead !

The sendings oversea are a little bit expensive, but we save up with the aim of this event, and we think of it all year round : every time Claire sees a nice thing, she asks us for our opinion, and if we agree, she buys it in anticipation of this particular moment.

As you were able to read it above, Pixie and I helped Claire to prepare our package this Friday, and we sent it to our correspondent. He lives thousands kilometers far from our home. You want to see the photos of what we sent ? What an idea ! No photos, otherwise it’s not a surprise anymore !
