Merry Christmas 2016

Dear readers, two days away from Christmas, we wish to thank you for every visit, for every liked article, for every comment, for your friendship and for your support.

We also thank our blogging friends all over the world, and the pawsome communities or bloggers groups to whom we belong : your friendship means the world to us.

Thank you from the bottom of our heart for visiting regularly our blog and for being part of our online family.

Last step before Christmas

The countdown until Christmas is always the same at our home :
At the end of November, we send our greeting cards to our friends overseas, Claire makes the Advent wreath, and she bakes small Christmas Cake to offer.
At the beginning of December, we send our greeting cards to our family in France and in Italy and to our European friends, we decorate our Christmas tree, and Claire and Momo install the bright decorations outside.
In the middle of December, we send our greeting cards to our family and to our friends in Switzerland.

And one week before Christmas, Claire bakes the Christmas biscuits.

She even made biscuits shaped like cats !

These delicious candies taste as is proper with a nice cup of tea.

Talking about biscuits, the last book of our talented friend Deb Barnes « Makin’ biscuits » features many of our friends ; that book is about « weird cat habits and even weirder habits of the humans who love them », and it’s a great gift idea. Our friends Caren and Cody wrote a wonderful review, check it out !

Christmas market

Claire and Momo abandoned us on Wednesday afternoon, but it was for a good cause : they went first to the Haut-Léman shelter to bring our present. There was a litter box, toys, a tunnel, two cups with a cat design, washing liquid, and stamps. Martine, the person in charge, was very happy !

They then went to the Christmas market of Montreux : it was magnificent. Here are some photos :

And look at what they had made by a craftsman (20 x 20 cm – 8 x 8 in) : Claire just repainted Pixie with the good colors, and added some hair to Momo, because he cared a lot about it. Nice, isn’t it ?
