Spa(y) day

PIXIE : Zorro, do you hear me ? On Wednesday, I have a « spa » day !

ZORRO : ???

PIXIE : Yes, it’s true, I heard Claire say that it would be my “Spa Day”, and that I could show then my shaved tummy to Summer ! On the other hand, I did not well understand it… Maybe because I am going to be depilated before the massages ?!?

ZORRO : I believe that Claire spoke about your “Spay Day”, which means that you’re rather going to have your girl’s small operation at the vet !

PIXIE : ???

Pixie is almost 6 months old, it’s time to spay her. We hope that everything goes well on Wednesday. I shall deposit her at 7:00 am at the veterinarian and shall go to look for her in the afternoon. We will give you news via Facebook and Twitter. Claire

There are no seasons anymore !

When I was a quite small kitten, my mom cat taught me that there were four seasons : spring (the temperatures are mild and flowers bloom), summer (it is very hot), autumn (it is chilly and it is raining a lot), and winter (it is very cold and it freezes). She told me that it was always like that.

But not this year : in 2014, we crossed directly from spring into autumn. Strange autumn, which began in June, without autumn leaves but with cool and rainy weather. I took advantage of rare sunny days to play in the garden. Claire says that it has been 60 years since we saw a similar summer in Switzerland : it rained a lot, many harvests were damaged, and several regions were flooded.

A HUGE thank you to Mom Emily and the gang of kitties at Kitty Cat Chronicles for passing along the Most Influential Blogger Award to us !

The name of this award has a particular sense for us : since January, we tried to put into practice the advice of the BlogPaws community to improve our blog : publish several articles a week, be present on various social networks, find a line editorial, revise our design by means of the talented Glogirly, and finally take better photos.

We can now say that we publish on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, except particular event at a precise date. Wednesday’s “How to”looked like many to please you, and we are going to keep this theme for this day.
Our adventures and our products reviews find place on Mondays and Fridays. We would like we could make more products review, and share it with you !
