Thank you for taking part in my commentathon ! Thanks to your comments, I was able to offer 60 CHF to the Haut-Léman shelter for Etoile.
Etoile has had surgery and is recovering nicely from her intervention. Everything went well. Claire went to see her on Thursday and even gave her a hug from me : Etoile is very affectionate and full of life, I wish her a happy life in her future forever home.

I’m glad I was able to reach out to her thanks to you !
February 17 is my 7th Gotcha Day, and I am as happy as ever to have found a wonderful home.
Like every year, I invite you to take part in my commentathon to help buddies who don’t have this chance and are waiting in a shelter.
This time, however, it’s a little different : let me introduce you to Etoile (“Star” in French).
Etoile recently arrived at the shelter that we support with the mucous membranes burned following contact with a corrosive product. She was treated and spayed as soon as she arrived, but that’s not enough.

After a first treatment and according to the opinion of an ophthalmologist, it’s sure that Etoile will never be able to see again : the decision was therefore made to remove his eyes which are a continuous source of infection and pain. This intervention will finally allow her to flourish and find a forever home. I know she’s not a cat, but isn’t she cute ?
The surgery is expensive, necessary and urgent. I have therefore decided that for every comment left on this article until Friday, February 21st noon (Swiss time), I’ll give 1 CHF to the Haut-Léman shelter for Etoile’s surgery.
1, 2, 3, …24…51….68, 69, 70 ! I got 70 comments for my commentathon, that’s great !
Thanks to you, I will be able to make a nice donation to the Haut-Léman shelter.
Thanks to all of you !
And here’s the nice card I got from Pippo, Dalton and Benji. It arrived the day of my Gotcha Day, but with the time difference, I could not publish it in the article. Thank you friends !
