Claire and Momo drew a crowd of all the village, the shelters, the cat blogosphere and the local groups of cat lovers, they put posters, they made a million times the tour of the village and the fields surroundings at various hours of day and night calling you, they went to see in a shelter if the found black cat, it was you, and it is all that you find to say ?
We are going to tell you a secret, too : you are deprived of release until the garden has a special fence which prevents you from wandering wherever !

Safety has a price

Zorro64Further to the disappearance of Céleste in 2010, Claire had already inquired with companies specialized as Swiss Clôtures or Sécurité Chats to know the cost of the securisation of the garden, without following up. Indeed, the answer was quite simple : it is expensive. Very expensive.

After the tragic death of Loupi, the question again arose, and this time Momo was ready : our small village develops, and even if it is still very quiet, there are all the same more and more cars. There is however an even big obstacle : the price. See rather : A = 180 m2, B = 90 m2jardin sur

What is sure, it is that there will not be cat here again as long as the garden is not secured, because Claire and Momo want that everybody can take advantage of it. I am used to going out as I want, it would be difficult to make to me stay at home, but I could adapt of a smaller territory.

I suggested learning to go hunting to exchange the fence for juicy birds and for soft mice, but my domesticated humans explained me that it was necessary to exchange it for pieces of paper of all colors, and that it would take time.

I did not understand why : it is nevertheless easy to have quickly paper sheets of all colors !

Bad day

Loupi has been hit by a car yesterday afternoon. He has bad wounds on the side (peeled skin, raw tendons and raw bone of the leg),  broken canines and crushed tail. There is as a gap between the pond and the vertebra, what could cause neurological problems.

Fortunately, Momo was at home : Béatrice, our neighbor, heard my pal howl, she rushed to collect him, and Momo rushed to make him look.

This morning (Saturday) the veterinarian phoned to Claire to give her some news : Loupi is under morphine because he suffers a lot. He is not apparently incontinent but it will be necessary to amputate him of an end of tail. As we are less than 24 hours after the shock, we are allowed until Sunday to see still how’s that evolve and to decide if these sufferings are worth being lived to continue then a little bit different life of cat, or if the aftereffects will be such as it is better to stop there.
