Back to school (COVID style)

Schools are reopening this Monday in Switzerland, so Claire and the leadership team spent the week organizing all this in collaboration with the police, local authorities, and school staff.

In the canton of Vaud, the return will be done by half-class ; students will go to school every other day. The rules of social distancing must be respected between adults, and between adults and children. There are pages and pages that detail how to comply with health measures at school, and it will have to be done in one way or another.

The Federal Council published a video for children in all national languages, as well as in English :

8 years blogging

Eight years ago, on 23 April 2012, our Angel Loupi decided to share his wisdom with the world : Swiss Cat Blog, the first name of our blog, was born. Zorro joined him a little later, and together they made lots of friends in the blogosphere thanks to the Google Translate button that was present from the beginning on the blog. In 2013, they also decided to translate their articles into English.

Zorro and Angel Loupi have benefited from the advice of more experienced bloggers from the Cat Blogosphere and Blogpaws communities (now All Pet Voices) to develop this blog that has definitely become The Swiss Cats.

Switzerland is a multilingual country, and the need to mew in the three official languages, in addition to English, was established in 2014.

Soon after, Ange Loupi gained his wings, but quickly sent the little Pixie to join the editorial team of The Swiss Cats.

We mainly share our daily lives, but we also write from time to time feature articles on behaviour, feeding, health, safety and care.

We also financially support a shelter through commentathons.

However, none of this would be possible without you, dear readers : your visits and comments feed our blog and make it live.

To thank you, one of you will have the chance to receive a surprise package from us. Try your luck until April 29th !
