Best wishes for Christmas

Two weeks ago, Momo decorated the tree while Claire was making the first batch of cookies (the second was made yesterday).

We’e already received a lot of beautiful cards by snail mail or e-mail, which makes us very happy : thank you very much to all those who sent them to us !

Finally, yesterday (23), we got a package from our friends at the Poupounette Gang : there was a lot of presents and treats for Claire and for us, including a Yeowww Nip Cigar : Zorro didn’t resist !

We wish you a happy holiday season and a very merry Christmas with those you love.

Already December

The work is going well and our house is now very pretty ; sparkling gutters were installed earlier this week. The photovoltaic panels will still arrive before Christmas, but the rest (shutters, outdoor lamps, etc.) will be for next year.

The garden looks like a battlefield, we dare not even show it to you !

We got our first Christmas card from Tommy et Teaghan, and others followed ; they are an integral part of our Christmas decorations, we will show them to you shortly.

A soft cocoon for winter

In two months, work has progressed well : our house is plump, wrapped in 18 to 20 centimeters of insulation fixed by more than 1000 special plugs.

For now, it’s grey, it’s the color of the layer that will then be hidden under the plaster. There are still a few things to do : do the plaster, fix the balcony and stair railings, install the exterior lighting, install the photovoltaic panels, and install the shutters. We will also have to put the fence of our enclosure back in its place.

Fortunately, we can enjoy the garden thanks to our tunnel ; we are hopeful that everything will be finished at the end of November, we cross our paws !
