Trip in Switzerland : the Vièze Gorges

Last week, Claire and Momo took a very pleasant walk in the Vièze Gorges, 20 minutes from us.

From the town of Monthey, you can quickly find yourself in the heart of nature. After having crossed the charming Covered Bridge, built in 1809, they passed through the pretty neighborhood of Outre-Vièze (it climbed steeply !) before arriving at the grid bridge overlooking the gorges.

The walk could have stopped there because Claire is dizzy ; it would have been a shame. She decided that this time, this darn dizziness would not stop her : she fixed her point of arrival straight in front of her, and took her first steps, crossing in one go this vertiginous footbridge that swayed softly above a gap of 60 meters. Momo was so impressed !

She was rewarded : the decor was beautiful. The path runs along the river along the entire route in a magnificent setting and gently descends down to Monthey.

The walk is not long (about 1 hour), but the change of scenery is guaranteed !

And here’s the nice card I got from Pippo, Dalton and Benji. It arrived the day of my Gotcha Day, but with the time difference, I could not publish it in the article. Thank you friends !
